She is at Immingham, i suspect she'll be painted BR blue and like the rest of the MNR fleet will run passanger services, PW trains and perhaps the odd Demonstration Freight train on special occasions as did D 8069 did over the 17th and 18th of this month _________________ Thanks from Mike

56040 safely arrived at Dereham station.
It is now on the locomotive page on the website.

i'll have to try get some photos of 56040 sometime this week. saw her yesterday, shes now sat at the railway crossing behind the coaches on platform 1, the usual place where they dump newly arrived rolling stock, should think she'll sit there for quite a while most things seem too. _________________ Thanks from Mike

Platform 1 is the one with the workshops and sheds right?
56040 is the youngest on the MNR, built in 1977.
It is also the strongest, with 3250hp. _________________ I just adore the Foxes of the Animals of Farthing Wood, and enjoy watching UK Trains, I also enjoy MSTS when it doesn't crash!!! |

Your proberly right there i refer to the running platform as platform 1, though in reality its got to be platform 2 seeing as its the middle platform so basically its between the workshop and railway crossing
your also forgetting its the heaviest at 128 tons _________________ Thanks from Mike

Whoops! Got the wrong message, I thought the loco was coming from the NNR! LOL
The Actual Loco number is: 47596, its in red and black livery (Rail Express Systems (Red / Charcoal))
I stand corrected.

you would be correct there.
56040 is now in platform 1 somewhere about the center last time i saw her, i shall hopefully become a member of the 56 group at some point and maybe able to help restore her although i will need a Personal Track Saftey certificate for that
